Protestant Ceremony in Italy
It is possible to celebrate Protestant ceremonies for your Italian destination wedding on the Amalfi Coast and Cilento. You can choose between a legal binding Protestant ceremony according to the Italian law or simply a religious ceremony without legal effects. For the latter it is necessary to go to the town hall some days before the wedding for the civil legal ceremony. If you have previously been civilly married in your own country, the Pastor will require a valid and recent civil marriage certificate, before performing the Protestant wedding ceremony here in Italy.
If you wish to perform a legal Protestant wedding, this needs to be arranged in advance, maybe with the help of a wedding planner, in order to arrange in time the paperwork required by the Italian law.
On the Amalfi Coast your Protestant ceremony can be celebrated in English. Protestant ceremonies can be celebrated in a luxury hotel, a wonderful garden, a terrace overlooking the Amalfi sea, in private venues or villas, on a beach, a boat, a yacht. Protestant weddings are even allowed in some Catholic churches.
Of course you can personalize your ceremony with readings, own personal vows, or adding special parts like "the exchange or roses", "lighting of candles" or the traditional Jewish "breaking of glass", details that you may discuss directly with the Pastor.
